Meet and greet Pauline Charbonneau, author, at the Salon de l’Histoire!
Pauline Charbonneau was born in the Iles-de-la-Madeleine on August 6, 1934. After graduating from the École Normale Notre-Dame-des-Flots, she taught as a teacher on the Islands for four years. At the age of 20, she moved to the Montreal region, where she was a teacher in Ville LaSalle in grades 6 and 7 of elementary school for nine years. Having always loved research and especially history, Pauline Charbonneau became interested in the history of the Iles-de-la-Madeleine as soon as she arrived in Montreal.
