Meet and greet the Société d’histoire des Filles du Roy at the Salon de l’Histoire!
The mission of the Société d’histoire des Filles du Roy (SHFR) is to publicize and rehabilitate in public opinion the approximately 800 girls and women who arrived in New France between 1663 and 1673 as part of a program sponsored by King Louis XIV, to populate the fledgling colony.
