Founded in 2020, under the direction of Lise Hubert, the choir of the Société d’histoire des Filles du Roy, Les Voix de la Neufve-France, has about twenty amateur choristers spread over the regions of Quebec, Trois-Rivières and Montreal. The repertoire, a Capella, is composed mainly of pieces from the 17th century, traditional French songs, Latin songs, contemporary compositions relating the story of the King’s Daughters, old Christmas songs and some songs in native languages.
