Africa has had a longstanding presence in Montreal. We come across it in businesses, associations, multiple social venues such as stores and cafés, places of worship, social events, artists and widespread cultural heritage. Help us put African Montreal, literally, on the map. Where are the places that witnessed the community’s major and minor historical moments? Is there something in your neighbourhood? The event will be a roundtable discussion and the results will also be broadcast live.
If you know anywhere of interest, please let us know. The museum’s team will validate and transfer your suggestions to the map.
